Choosing the correct keyword for your page’s title
How to find correct keywords to target? The simple and straight answer to this question is to select a keyword which has least competition. So how to know which keyword has lesser number of competitors; it is not too hard. Go to google.com and search for your keywords and note (Only from first two pages) how many web pages are using these keywords in their title. Select the keyword which is used by the lesser number of competitors and start targeting it. You will get good search engine ranking for this keyword in almost no time. Here you can see the snapshot of the google search for a lesser competitive keyword “boat values”.
Here you can see that keyword “boat values” is used by very few websites in the title. So it will be a wise choice to find out such keywords and target them. These keywords will start to give you some traffic if you are optimizing a brand new website.
